How it works
TAG ITEMS
Radio-Frequency Identification tags are used at the pallet, case, or individual item level. The measurement unit to which tags are applied may differ from one firm to the next. Radio-Frequency Identification labels are routinely used to supplement or replace existing labelling.
CONFIGURE READ POINTS
Set up radio-frequency identification read stations or gateways. Radio-Frequency Identification readers read the items as they pass through the portals at the dock doors. Additional input and output sensors can be added to these portals for data collection and operational feedback. Two examples are electric eyeballs for product directionality capture and light stacks for user feedback.

Capture Smart Data and Receive Prompt notifications for Problems - As data is collected at each dock door, capture smart data and receive prompt notifications for problems. A red light may flash to inform the user if a product is expired while loading a truck and the Radio-Frequency Identification label is being read at the dock door portals.
