Yard Management
Enhance Your Yard Management with RFID
Yards are complex environments with several moving pieces. Knowing where the assets are on the yard is critical for saving time and money. Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) technology enables the attaching of RFID tags to things and the use of RFID readers to track object movement throughout a garden.
How it works
TAG ITEMS
Radio-Frequency Identification tags are attached to key assets. If the assets are constructed of metal, metal-specific Radio-Frequency Identification tags can be employed to improve readability. Because these tags are serialised, you can uniquely identify each object.
RFID READER
As assets move throughout the yard, use radio-frequency identification scanners to collect data. These readers, together with accompanying antennae, can be put in strategic areas where a large number of assets are likely to pass by. Gates and staging areas are two examples.
ASSET MOVEMENTS
Create an asset movement trial utilising the asset movement data to learn where the assets are right now. Use zonal technology to split your garden into logical zones for asset positioning and data collection.
Valuable Workflows
ASSET POSITIONING
RFID readers and antennas strategically deployed across a yard can be used to collect asset movement data. Create a logical map of where assets are located to save time searching for misplaced assets.
THROUGHPUT ANALYSIS
Understand the throughput and velocity of assets and inventory throughout your yard by affixing RFID tags to assets. Understand where process gaps may exist and take corrective action immediately using a streamlined technique of data collecting.
