RFID Field & Consignment Inventory

Optimize Your Field and Consignment Inventory Supply Chains

It isn’t always required to keep inventory within the walls. Inventory commodities in the healthcare industry may be stored at supply chain partner, distributor, or client premises. These tags are attached to inventory items in order to improve inventory management. The ability to count items in bulk, without line of sight, and to reduce the time required to complete the task simplifies audits and cycle counts.

How it works

TAG ITEMS

To improve administration, radio-frequency identification tags are attached to inventory items. A pre-printed, pre-encoded number may be placed on the tag, or industry standardised standards such as the SGTIN may be used. Other data, such as lot, batch, or expiration dates, can be programmed into Radio-Frequency Identification tags.

AUDITS AND CYCLE COUNTS

Use Inventory counts (audits and cycle counts), transfers, and returns are performed utilising Radio-Frequency Identification handhelds in conjunction with devices such as smart phones, tablets, or laptop computers.

GAIN VALUABLE INSIGHT

Obtaining Critical Insight: As data is acquired, optimise critical metrics such as minimum and maximum par levels. Improve your efficiency by learning more about utilisation and turn rates. Effectively learn about variants (items that are missing or extra).

Valuable Workflows

CYCLE COUNTS / AUDITS

RFID may be used to do cycle counts and audits fast, efficiently, and correctly. Bulk scan RFID tags to reduce manual counting efforts with RFID. Recognise and act on differences as soon as possible.

EXPIRY / RECALLED INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

During scanning, provide user warnings to inventory items that are expired or recalled. Use the find item feature to locate the items and then pull them from inventory as needed.
